Hello, my name is Crane Who has Lived a Lot of Life. My English name is Marlys (Jeannine Corbiere). I am Crane Clan and I am Anishnaabe Kwe, and mixed settler ancestry.  I was born and raised on Batchewana First Nation.  I am a mother, auntie, daughter, niece, sister, cousin, and friend.  I enjoy spending my time outside with my family as much as possible, hiking, biking and kayaking.

Professionally, I am a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist with the College of Nurses of Ontario.  I have training in several therapeutic modalities, including somatic experiencing (SE), narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).  I also bring to my practice experience working in frontline healthcare for over 15 years.  I worked for many years supporting families during their transition into parenting and childbirth.  The last several years of my practice have focused on working with those who have experienced sexual and domestic violence.   Within this work, my passion is addressing barriers to accessing health care, especially for those traditionally targeted by patriarchal and colonial systems.
