Each piece of us is interconnected with all our other parts, our spirit, our relationships, and the world. However, these parts can become disconnected or out of balance for many reasons, such as trauma, pain, or even our modern lifestyles. When these pieces of us are disconnected, then other parts of our lives are also impacted. My approach is to begin to discover and access these pieces of ourselves through the body. Within our bodies, we carry the wisdom from our lived experiences and ancestral knowledge. These memories can be powerful and feel like depression, anxiety, pain, trauma, hope, joy and love. However, they are also guides to your own inner strengths and abilities. My role is to use these tools and trainings to travel next to you on your journey of reconnecting with your own innate wisdom. In this process, you guide and choose the paths we explore.
Another part of my role is to hold a space for your whole truth (debwewin) and acceptance of your whole self, just as you are. We are here to explore all that you carry with you, even when it appears contradictory or may have caused a negative reaction from others in the past. These discoveries of all the layers and nuances of our beings build a deeper connection with self, spirit, and community. The lessons you uncover from these contradictions are available for you to decide if they should be let go or carried with you in your bundle.
